So interesting..I have to look back at my Clothpaperscissors mags. I made it into the Jan/feb issue this month for the" A little me...challenge

I love your self-portrait, Judy! What a small world! It's fascinating how we're all so interconnected - I remember seeing your self portrait on their website during the competition and was sure that you would make it -- I'm glad you did! I had a transparent mini-house published in the Nov/Dec '11 issue, and this wee planet in the Sept/Oct '11 issue of Cloth Paper Scissors. I'm also having an tutorial article published in the upcoming March/April '12 issue sharing my techniques for creating wee planets. It's so cool to see your own artwork in a magazine! :)

Thank-you for featuring this little world in your group, Krista! This planet has a special place in my heart for so many reasons. It was truly a catalyst for my artwork this year.

This "Wee Planet" was a finalist in the International competition, "On the Street Where You Live," sponsored by Cloth Paper Scissors magazine and was subsequently published in their Sept/Oct 2011 issue.

I fell in love with wee planets as an art form several years ago and haven't looked back since. You can escape reality and imagine yourself exploring a little planet of your very own! For this wee planet, I took advantage of waking up *way too early* with a toddler to go to historic downtown at the crack of dawn when the streets were quiet. I love the old facades of these buildings!
